 E.J. McKnight formed STANDING OVATIONS with the expressed purpose of offering his unique motivational training and success seminars to major corporations, businesses, churches, and schools. His powerful messages and presentations are energized, engaging, personally uplifting, and highly entertaining. And he offers a service that provides follow up and accountability!
E.J. is a successful businessman, who not only serves as President of STANDING OVATIONS, but also invests in real estate, and has entertained thousands as a professional magician since 1982. He is the proud father of six children and grandfather to 14.
His experience includes:
- a successful career as a high school English teacher where he was 3 times named Teacher of the Year.
- a Masters degree in English Literature and Education from the University of Cincinnati where he also received his undergraduate degree on a football scholarship.
- a football career that includes playing and/or coaching on the high school, college, and professional levels.
- a lifetime of civic service and church related ministry in the United States, South America, and southeast Asia.
- founder and director of TOGETHER, an international humanitarian organization that has renovated impoverished schools, helped provide surgeries for several children in the Philippines, and collected 17,000 books to help a small island in that country.
- an active interest in golf, collecting sports memorabilia, model railroading, writing, and thoroughbred horse racing.
